Common Mistake: Hunching the shoulders
Instructions
- Stand straight, feet shoulder-width apart, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Straighten your spine and pull your shoulders back, then rotate your palms outward with the thumbs pointing to the sides
- Slowly raise your arms to shoulder level, rotating your palms back so that your palms are facing upwards.
- Then raise your straight arms and bring your palms together.
- Lower your arms to shoulder level, and return the thumbs upward.
- Lower your arms down by your sides. Repeat the exercise.
